Malcom X Birthday....

Today is the birthday of Malcom X. He doenst have a national holiday in his honor so many would not know this. So on a day like this we must honor the memory of who was arguably the most influential black leader of our time. He was not safe, nor was he politically correct and some would even say confused upon the time of his death. But one thing is unquestionable about him. He stood for the upliftment and progression of  black people.

Ken Ivy aka “Pimpin Ken” is mentally unhealthy.

Ken Ivy aka “Pimpin Ken” is mentally unhealthy. After years of strain and stress the once fast talking street hustler with a comedic twist to his famous one liners was submitted to Rogers mental  health center in Milwaukee for psychiatric evaluation. The incarceration of his wife Ferlisha Ivy among other things have caused him to go through what doctors call neurological syndromes that include impulsive behavior and outrageous outburst. Ken Ivy is also documented as a snitch on many of his own friends. His safety from his self was first concern upon release and because of the constant restrains by the state of Milwaukee and his homelessness he moved to South Beach Florida upon recommendetion of the doctors because that is where most people with his condition is directed to go. As his mental condition continues to diminish he has become unrecognizable by many. Once considered a legend in the game for authoring the book “Pimpology: 48 laws of the game” he has never been able to complete another book after because of his mental illness. Sources close to him say that he is a shell of what he use to be and when they look into his eyes “he is no longer there.” He can be found in a dennys diner in Miami late night selling bootleg copies of movies like American Pimp and Pimps Up Hoes down Which he claims to have produced. Further leading to his delusional mental state.  And for a few dollars you can pay him to recite lines from the movie. Ken Ivy aka Pimpin Ken a sad story.

Michael Maroy, a class act in a league of his own.

Article by Melissa Hunter   Michael Maroy is an Award Winning Documentary Filmmaker. A professional voice over artist that has narrated several films, commercials, E.P.K’s and corporate videos. He has appeared on ABC’s 20/20 with Diane Sawyer as a guest an expert in American Sub-Culture on the topic of pimping and prostitution. His movies have gained critical reviews all over the world. His artistic ability only comes second to his understanding in branding and marketing. A skilled cinematographer with a meticulous eye. College educated in Mass Communications and Media Arts with a Bachelors in Radio and Television with a minor in U.S. history. A photographer by trade and love for motion pictures, his image has catapulted him larger than his work. But when asked about what he does he humbly says “Im just a camera man.” But to call Michael Maroy a camera man is like calling Dr,Dre a D.j. Yes indeed he is a cameraman but he has directed, edited, narrated and produced 9 films of his own to date. One film titled “The Best of Both Worlds” he even hosted it as an on air personality starring Pimp C of UGK. His accolades and accomplishments would arguably make him the best black documentary filmmaker in America. No one has completed as many films wearing as many titles as he has. No one! Once in an interview he was asked who does he look up to as a documentary filmmaker and he named Michael Moore because of his skill of story telling and content and Ken Burns because of work ethic and resume to say the least. In that same interview he was asked who did he look at as competition. He replied “Myself. I am in competition to do better than every project I put out previously.” His goal is to make his website www.TooRealForTV.com the home of the Worlds Best Documentary films.
