Man Wanted for Robbing Gun Store & Sending Revolution Manifesto To Trump

Wisconsin authorities are working with the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Secret Service in an urgent search for Joseph Jakubowski, 32, of the Janesville area of Wisconsin. Jakubowski is an “extremely dangerous” suspect who they say robbed a gun store, stealing at least 16 weapons, and sent a 161-page manifesto to President Donald Trump.

“You’ll never forget this face,” an unidentified man said in a video speaking about Jakubowski who’s seen preparing his letter for Trump. “To anybody that got this letter, you might want to read it,” Jakubowski says while showing that it’s addressed to Trump. He continues, “Revolution. It’s time for change.”

The word “revolution” combined with what police say are threats Jakubowski has made against school and public officials have safety concerns extremely high.

“Basically, he’s angry at all government officials,” Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden said at a news conference today. “You know, whether it’s the president or local officials or whether it’s law enforcement. He basically has a dislike for anyone that has authority or governmental power.

“We consider him to be armed and highly dangerous.”

Jakubowski allegedly broke into the Armageddon Supplies gun shop in Janesville Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. and stole about 16 firearms. At least two assault rifles and several high-end handguns were among the stolen firearms, a law enforcement source told ABC News. He may have also stolen silencers, the source said. Jakubowski could also be seen on surveillance video appearing to steal the weapons, police said. They also believe he had a bulletproof vest and helmet.

Spoden said more than 150 law enforcement officers were now engaged in an urgent nationwide manhunt for Jakubowski, who has been missing since Tuesday, the same day he mailed the manifesto. In communications prior to his disappearance, Jakubowski also allegedly made reference to his dying by the hand of Trump and expressed a desire to save everyone by taking out one politician at a time.

“When you look at his document that he wrote, it’s really a long list of injustices he believes the government and society and the upper class have put forward onto the rest of the citizens, so there’s really nothing specific where he’s saying, ‘I was wronged in this way’ or ‘I was wronged in that way,'” Spoden said. “It’s just an overview that he feels that government and law enforcement, in particular, are acting as terrorists and enslaving the people and creating this environment that he finds unacceptable.”

Police said he was known to officers and had previously been imprisoned for trying to disarm a police officer. The FBI is now offering $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
