Pimp who sold teen for sex in Dallas, Wichita Falls gets 18 years in prison
A Dallas pimp was sentenced to 18 years in federal prison this week after he admitted selling a teenager for sex.
Edric Norvell Robinson, 46, pleaded guilty in April to sex trafficking charges involving a 16-year-old girl.
Robinson forced the girl into prostitution in Dallas and Wichita Falls between April 2014 and August 2014, according to documents in the case.
District Judge Ed Kinkeade on Wednesday also ordered Robinson to serve a 15-year term of supervised release after serving his prison sentence. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Robinson has an extensive criminal history that includes arrests for assault and drug possession.
